Introduction The WHSMP 2 hopes to demonstrate in selected project sites an affordable model of delivering health services that increases access of vulnerable and disadvantaged women of reproductive age to acceptable, high quality, and cost-effective reproductive health services essential for safely attaining their desired spacing and number of children. Indigenous peoples, youth, poor women, commercial sex workers are among the vulnerable and disadvantaged groups that the project hopes to effectively reach and benefit. WHSMP2 has the following objectives: (i) increase the access (in selected sites) of disadvantaged women (including indigenous people) of reproductive age to high quality and cost-effective reproductive health services; and (ii) develop and implement sustainable and replicable systems, Public Disclosure Authorized within the framework of the Health Sector Reform Agenda, for the financing and delivery of reproductive health services. The project consists of two parts: a Local Delivery of the Integrated WHSM Service Package (Part A) and a National Capacity to Sustain WHSM Services (Part B). The Province of Surigao del Sur is among the first batch of Project Sites selected for the project, which will be assisted through the establishment and operation of a network of Women’s Health and Safe Motherhood teams (WHT), provision of assistance in the upgrading of health facilities, development and implementation of cost-effective and sustainable approaches to reach vulnerable and high risk groups. Selected health facilities in the province will be improved and upgraded to increase access of women, particularly the disadvantaged women, to emergency obstetric care.

MISSION Develop a systemized and more comprehensive lobster industry in the Caraga Region through direct marketing and linkages to domestic and international buyers, product diversification, capacity development, financing, promotion and marketing, technology acquisition and institutional strengthening. GOALS Increase sales by up to P 151, 596, 100.8 representing 1,150.24% of the sales from 2018 to 2022 through direct marketing and linkages with domestic and international buyers, product diversification, capacity development, financing, promotion and marketing, technology acquisition and institutional strengthening. The result recorded the active time of day dugong are sighted, numbers, activities as well death, stranding and recovery efforts. Dugong were tracked across Cape San Agustin from Pujada. Associated information was gathered from the Samal-Talikud islands and Malita Bay in Davao Gulf about 100 kilometers away towards the Celebes Sea. Sightings were also noted within a 100-kiometer zone between Baganga Bay and Hinatuan Bays towards the eastern Pacific seaboard since 2004. Both sightings, strandings, deaths and recovery efforts were similarly reported in all these areas. These areas have a potential link with the southern Mindanao-Sulu-Celebes Sea area of dugong, marine mammals and endangered wildlife community.
