Miscellaneous General Remarks The Voyager 36 was built by Sable Marine and was a very popular charter cruising cat in the Whitsundays. It is not well known that Aussie pioneering designer Lock Crowther had a fair bit to do with this design. Originally a very roomy and strong 36’ cat it was latter extended to 38’ as many designs have done so over the years to make then sail better, ease of access from your and hold the ever-increasing weight us cruising folk seem to load at the back of our cats. This craft was bought by the current owners in Queensland and then sailed south the Adelaide for south waters cruising and fun. Since then it has had a major refit of instrumentation and gear, furnishing included the laid flooring and above all it’s been well maintained to make her a reliable and a comfortable vessel. The interior is very roomy and has excellent head room and a very open airy feel about her. The galley located in the starboard hull is huge, has massive storage and opens into the vast saloon area. The forward queen-size cabins are also well appointed and comfortable a with plenty of storage and hanging space. From the photos, you can see the entire vessel presents in excellent conditions and is now ready for new owners to explore more of Australia’s coast line.
