Reference to Plane crash in Nepal The Chairman made a reference to the plane crash at an airport in the north of Nepal on the 14th May, 2012, in which more than 15 people, including 13 Indians, have reportedly died. The House observed silence, all Members standing, as a mark of respect to the memory of those who lost their lives in the tragedy. %11-06 a.m. 2. Report of the Department Related Parliamentary Standing Committee on Food, Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution Shri Lalhming Liana laid on the Table, a copy (in English and Hindi) of the Nineteenth Report of the Department-related Parliamentary Standing Committee on Food, Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution (2011-12) on Action Taken by the Government on the observations/recommendations contained in the Ninth Report of the Committee (2009-2010) on the subject ‗Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) – Hallmarking of Jewellery‘, pertaining to the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution (Department of Consumer Affairs). 12-15 p.m. 10.
