Crimes of note:
02/07/21 – Criminal damage, Petham – a hedge has been cut without owner’s permission
10/07/21 – Criminal damage, Pomfret Road, Chartham – glass pane on a front door has been cracked
13/07/21 – Attempt criminal damage, Shalmsford Street, Chartham – an attempt to damage a bus shelter
with a knife has been made, no damage has been caused
25/07/21 – Theft of motor vehicle, The Hyde, Chartham – car has been stolen from outside an address
26/07/21 – Theft of motor vehicle, Parish Road, Chartham – car has been stolen which has since been
located
26/07/21 – Criminal damage to a vehicle, The Green, Chartham – car passenger window has been
smashed
There have been no crimes of note reported from Upper Hardres, Lower Hardres, Nackington,
Waltham or Harbledown
Anti-social behaviour and other incidents of note:
05/07/21, 17/07/21 – Petham recreation ground – petrol powered kart driving around the playground by a group of men
08/07/21 – Denge Wood, Waltham – off road bikes seen riding in woodlands
18/07/21 – Ashford Road, Chartham – youths jumping from bridge into the weir pool
23/07/21 – Penny Pot Lane, Waltham – car set on fire, has been recovered by Police

On Tuesday 24th August I have organised a Police surgery, I will be at Chartham Village Hall from 1100 till 1300 hours for anyone who wishes to speak with me about concerns in the area.
