Kalai Koodam synergized talents from the South & showcased the diversity of our regional folk music. Folk tribal Dance Thidambu Nritham, Perini, Thapetta Gullu, Dollu Kunitha, , , Garadi, , Mayil Attam and lot more it’s hard for gravity to hold audience on ground.

Dancers burst with verve and vitality sporting flamboyant and artistic jewels, mind blowing performances, acrobatic skills, perfect synchronized movements and great expressions. The versatile dancers stole the show at Kalaikoodam and it was a glittering event that would always remain in the minds of the audience who were spellbound.

Music unwraps the heart, sings out the prayer, Group Song Indian dances the spirit and opens the soul – Mary Davis

16 Team Kalaikoodam Nightingales flocked together in harmony and unison. It was an explosion of talents they rendered melodious tunes and souful songs. Singers were spellbinding, alluring, delightful and soul touching Group Song Western The western Group Song team from Bangalore University stole the show. There were rocking performances from other institutions also. It was diffcult for the audience to be glued to their seats and judges to select the best performers.

It was rocking performances with songs of Demi Lovato “Stone Cold”, Adele’s - Rolling in the Deep, Ellie’s – Love Me Like You Do, John Legend’s – All Of Me, Alicia Keys - Girl on Fire etc. by participants from CUSAT, Sri Chandraskharendra Viswa Maha 9 teams participated in the event and it was a power Vidyalaya (SCSVMV), Gulbarga packed performance.
