Erasmus+ International - Incoming Students

Mobility dates: • Winter semester: 1 September 2019 – 15 February 2020 • Summer semester: 1 February 2020 – 15 July 2020

Scholarship payments: The scholarship is always granted for a maximum of 5.5 months. Incoming Students of the Erasmus+ International program will receive a scholarship of € 850 per full month.

Furthermore, exchange students are exempt from tuition fees. Nevertheless, they may be charged small fees on the same basis as local students for costs such as insurance, student unions and the use of miscellaneous material.

• The first 70 % of the scholarship will be paid upon arrival once the student has handed in the original of the grant agreement signed by both parties, the amendment of the grant agreement providing the bank details of an Austrian bank account and a copy of the registration with the City of Graz (“Meldezettel”). • The final 30 % of the scholarship will be transferred after the student submits the final documents (EU online survey, changes to the learning agreement signed by all parties).

Travel grant: The scholarship also includes a travel grant (single payment) depending on the country of origin. The travel grant will be transferred together with the first scholarship payment.
