fter deliberating about three options, the South Brunswick Township ACouncil has chosen to lay the final portion of Ridge Road sidewalks closer to residential neighborhoods. The two-phase sidewalk project will stretch from Georges Road to Route 522 and calls for new sidewalks and improve- ments to the slt)nn sewers. The first phase stretches less than a quar- ter-mile, from Georges Road to the public serv ice casement along the south side of the road. The second phase will stretch beyond that, to Route 522. After reviewing three possible options for which side of the road to place the sec- ond-phase sidewalks on, the governing body chose the north side of Ridge Road, where there are more residences.
