Commemorated Savona Memorial, and Ludborough Robert Alfred Bushell, Unable to identify. Possibly mistaken forenames and should read John Robert Bushell. Private G/69075. 4th Battalion, Royal Fusiliers, formerly 19259 Army Veterinary Corps. Died of wounds 23rd February 1918. Born Swaby, enlisted and resident Louth, Lincs. Commemorated Bucquoy Road Cemetery, Ficheux. II.C.19. David Harold Crow, Private 23249. 10th Battalion, York and Lancaster Regiment, formerly 12165 Lincolnshire Regiment. Died 26th September 1915. Born Donington on Bain, enlisted Wragby and resident Louth, Lincs. Commemorated Loos Memorial. Panel 105 and 106. In loving memory of David Harold Crow, 10th York and Lancaster Regt. the affectionate son of Charles and Lydia Crow, who was killed in action on Sept. 26th, 1915, aged 21 years, Three years have passed, our hearts still sore, As time goes on we miss him more, His cheering smile, his loving face, No one can fill his vacant place. Denison has been killed in action. He was lord of the manor of Kelstern. L&NLA 20th April 1918 [Kelstern] Thomas Walter Harrison, Lieutenant. 4th Battalion, Lincolnshire Regiment. Died 10th October 1918. Commemorated Hollybrook Memorial, Southampton, Horncastle St. Mary and Horncastle W.M. Hospital. On October 10th, 1918, drowned through the sinking of the R.M.S. Leinster by a German Submarine [UB123] Lieut. T. Walter Harrison, husband of Katie Harrison, and eldest son of Thomas Harrison, Kelstern Grange, Louth, Lincolnshire. L&NLA 19TH October, 1918. Anderson. 625 Sqn RAF - Book of Remembrance UKNIWM Ref: 53996 Adjacent to the pulpit steps can be found a glazed display cabinet, containing a book with blue covers on which is embossed the badge of 625 Squadron below which are the words “Roll of Honour” and a glazed print of the Squadron Badge. On the top rail of the cabinet is a small brass plate which reads “Dedicated and presented to the Church of St. Faith, Kelstern by 625 Squadron R.A.F. Motto: "We avenge" Badge: Within a circular chain of seven links, a Lancashire rose No 625 Squadron was formed on 1 October 1943 at Kelstern from C Flight of No.100 Squadron. Its Lancasters took part in Bomber Command's night offensive against Germany for the rest of the war.
