The main sponsor to twelve football clubs in the Turkcell Super League is Turkcell A supporter of the football clubs in the Professional League since 2003, Turkcell has now become the Main Sponsor to twelve clubs to compete in the Turkcell Super League during the 2007-2008 season. Istanbul – Friday, 10 August, 2007 – (NYSE:TKC, ISE:TCELL), Turkey’s leading communications and technology company Turkcell, which develops projects in order to contribute to the development of sports in our country, supports football and basketball by means of sponsorships to help ensure that the achievements of Turkish sportsmen and sportswomen are made to continue into the future and rendered permanent. Maintaining its sponsorship agreements with the football clubs Ankaragücü, Ankaraspor, Bursaspor, Çaykur Rizespor, Denizlispor, Gaziantepspor, Gençlerbirliği, Kayserispor, Konyaspor, and Sivasspor which competed in the Turkcell Super League last season, Turkcell has become the Main Sponsor to Gençlerbirliği Oftaşspor and Kasımpaşaspor which joined the Turkcell Super League for the first time this year. Turkcell’s goal in these sponsorships is to build up sportsmanlike competition by helping to raise the number of the “Big Four” to the “Big Many” so that Turkish sports can enjoy even greater achievements in the days to come. Turkcell has been the Main Sponsor to the Turkish Football Federation and the National Teams since 2002. Having acquired the name sponsorship of the Turkey Professional Super League for five years starting with the 2005-2006 season, Turkcell supports Turkish sports by serving as the Main Sponsor to the Turkish National Football and Basketball Teams.
