Añonuevo and Estrella Dizon-Añonuevo EXECUTIVE SUMMARY This action research was conducted in the course of the implementation of the IFAD project entitled, Scaling Up Initiatives in Mobilizing Migrant Resources to Agriculture Development in the Philippines. The main purpose of the action research is to understand the savings and investing behavior of the OFWs and families and help out in building transnational linkages and developing partnerships needed to promote the use of remittances of Filipino migrants in Italy, Singapore, Qatar and United Arab Emirates on productive investments in the provinces of Agusan del Sur, Batangas, Ifugao, Laguna, Oriental Mindoro, Tarlac and Surigao del Sur.
