The SGA is the official representative o f the stu­ dent body and is responsible for coordinating a variety o f events for students. The following people were elected to a position within SGA. Susan M iller, elected President, is a graduate o f Beaver Creek High School. She is enrolled in the Associate in Arts p rogram and is a member o f Liberty Grove Baptist Church. She is the daughter o f Kermit and Jane M iller o f Deep Gap. She is a Sunday school teacher at the Rose o f Sharon Church and is employed part-time at the McElwee & McElwee Law Firm. She is the daughter of Marcus and Emma Blevins. Bradley Hayes, elected Treasurer, is a graduate o f East Wilkes High School and is enrolled in the Architectural Technology pro­ gram. He was a member o f this year’s volleyball, basketball and baseball teams. He is employed part-time at Cheek’ s Market and is a member o f Bethel Branch Church o f Christ. He is the son o f Tony and Brenda Hayes o f North Wilkesboro. Kendra Taylor, elected Sophomore Class President, is a graduate o f WestWilkes High School and is enrolled in the Associate in Arts program. She is the daughter o f Larry and Robin Taylor o f Wilkesboro. Jaret Hemric, elected Sophomore Class Vice-President, is a graduate o f East Wilkes High School and is enrolled in the Associate in Arts program. He played on this year’s basketball team and is a member o f Peace Haven Baptist Church. He is (he son o f Greg and Terri Hemric o f Hamptonville. Bobby T riplett, elected Sophomore Class Treasurer, is a graduate o f East Wilkes High School and is enrolled in the Architectural Technology program. He is a member o f Oak Level Baptist Church and served as an assistant wrestling coach this year at East Wilkes High School. He is the son o f Mack Jr. and Nancy Triplett of Elkin. Christy Riddle, elected as a Sophomore Sena­ tor, is a graduate o f East Wilkes High School and is enrolled in the Nursing program. She is a member o f Bethel Branch Church o f Christ and is the daughter o f Gary and Jane Riddle of North Wilkesboro. Scotty Lambert, elected as a Sophomore Sena­ tor, is a graduate o f West Wilkes High School and is enrolled in the Electronics Engineering Technology program. This year he served as an assistant coach for the volleyball team and is employed part-time at Winn Dixie. He is a member o f Bethel Branch Church o f Christ and is the son o f Dan and Sandy Lambert o f Wilkesboro.
