Please do not ride a bike before the morning briefing, unless you’re a section checker, and if you’re a section checker, get your bike scrutineered first. The Police permits state that no bikes will be ridden before the briefing, so if we’re having a ride and the Police show up, they can enforce the permit, tell us to pack up and send us all home. Frankly that’d suck, so please adhere to the rule. Moving on to better stuff now, Ian Pickering is still taking names and numbers for The Brass Monkey Ride at Moina on the 2nd and 3 rd of June. If you’re keen to go, get in touch with Ian and let him know so he can organise who can take what for meals. Also, it hasn’t been mentioned at all so I’ll do it now, there’s unlikely to be a polling place in the bush near abandoned mines and such, and the Federal election is on the 2 nd of June.
