Trabajar Con Chakras.Pdf

Surat Shabd Yoga
Surat Shabd Yoga the yoga of the Sound Current Surat Shabd Yoga is a practical meditation technique to enable the mystical experience of seeing the Inner Light and listening to the Shabd soul music. This science of the spirit has been distilled from the ancient yogas of India. The method was re-defined for modern times by Nanak and Kabir. The meditation technique of "Surat Shabd Yoga" which the mystics have called the "science of the soul" can be practiced daily in the comfort and convenience of one's own home. The practice of Surat Shabd Yoga is a process of " dying while living" , in which the externalized attention is inverted to allow one to come in contact with the divine power within. Contact with this Primal Source of peace, love, and bliss, penetrates our entire being, removing our fears and worries and anxieties. Reference to the divine light and inner sound, that flows out from the Creator, is found in the writings and recorded experiences of saints, yogis and mystics. In the Guru Granth Sahib we have a spiritual encyclopedia of accurately recorded mystical poetry of mystics and gurus, which unlike any other scripture in the world is set to traditional Indian music (raags) to guide, inspire and elevate. It's universal message is known as Gurbani. Each and everyone has the capacity to reconnect to the Primal Source of inner peace, love, harmony and bliss. Meditation is the method "to go within", and experience it. SOUL JOURNEY Return to Essence PREPARATION: (GENERAL MEDITATION INSTRUCTIONS) a) Choose a place and time for Meditation Practice (Abhyaas) Meditation can be practiced at any time and at any place we wish. -

Late Shri Janaki Mandal Ji, the Grandfather of Revered Swami
Late Shri Janaki Mandal ji, the grandfather of Revered Swami Bhagirath Baba, was a resident of Lalganj, a village under Rupauli Police Station of Purnia District in the state of Bihar, India. He was an intensely devout person, and used to organise every year a series of discourses on Bhagwat (a scripture illustrating the exploits of all the incarnations of Lord Vishnu, especially that of His incarnation as Lord Shri Krishna) for a fortnight spanning from Amavasya (New Moon Day) to Poornima (Full Moon Day) of the Hindu month of Vaishakh (coinciding with the month of May usually). It was during one such occasion that Swami Bhagirath Das ji was born - on Tuesday the 09th May of 1945, the 11th day of the light half of the month of Vaishakh - while the discourse on the Bhagvat was going on. It is for this reason that Late Shri Janki Mandal ji gave the name ‘Bhagvat Mandal‘ to him. His venerable mother, Late Mrs. Dhanasi Devi, took ill immediately after his birth and, thus, the onus of his upbringing fell upon his grandmother and aunt (father’s sister). So, Bhagirath Baba got very little opportunity of receiving his mother’s milk. Swami Bhagirath Das ji was very quiet or calm by nature. He loved sitting quietly in solitude. His family members would get amazed by his temperament. Even in his childhood days he displayed a natural attraction for sages; seeing hermits or sages he would run to them and pay his obeisance. He did not have much inclination towards studies; he preferred rather to sit alone with his eyes closed. -

SEC 3 Page 1 of 5 3. VITALITY AND PERSONAL GROWTH II 3.1 THE REALIZATION OF THE SELF-CENTRAL: Self-Realization is a scientific process which reveals a new vision and understanding so that you have: Freedom from worries and fear Scientific solutions to inner and external conflicts Smoother relationships Inner peace Equanimity amid any circumstances Eternal happiness Experience of your true eternal Self Experience the depths of spirituality while fulfilling your worldly responsibilities Have you stopped to wonder what the goal of human life might be? While each day contains unique quests for happiness, any happiness we do attain remains with us only temporarily. Then, after each phase of happiness passes, have you noticed that only an underlying dissatisfaction remains inside? This dissatisfaction prompts the next quest for happiness which again is, by nature, temporary. And so the cycle continues.. Aware of this, you may question whether permanent happiness even exists; and if it did, how could it be attained? The answer is Yes, it does exist. Permanent happiness is, the goal of human life and is experienced continuously upon attaining Self-realization. But what exactly is Self-realization? It is to know and experience directly who You really are! By discovering the real eternal nature of "Who am I", true permanent happiness is attained. When asked "Who are YOU", most people will answer "I am William" But this name is only a title given to identify your body, just as store names such as Wal- mart and Tesco are given simply to specify the store's presence. -

about the translator.. Kirpal Singh, a modern Saint in the direct line of Guru Nanak, was born in 1894 in the Punjab in India (now part of Pakistan). His long life, saturated with love for God and humanity, brought peace and fulfillment to approximately 120,000 disciples, scat- tered all over the world. He taught the natural way to find God while living; and his life was the embodiment of his teachings. He made three world tours, was President of the World Fel- lowship of Religions for fourteen years, and convened the gigan- tic World Conference on Unity of Man in February 1974, attended by religious, social and political leaders from all over the world. He died on August 2 1, 1974, in his eighty-first year, stepping out of his body in full consciousness; his last words were of love for his disciples. His life bears eloquent testimony that the age of the prophets is not over; that it is still possible for human beings to find God and reflect His will. The Ascent Within Esoteric Instructions by Swami Ji Maharaj & Baba Sawan Singh Ji Maharaj
The Ascent Within Esoteric Instructions by Swami Ji Maharaj & Baba Sawan Singh Ji Maharaj No eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor human heart conceived, what God has prepared for those who love Him. (Saint Paul) Every region and everything is utterly beyond words. What beauty and glory! How can I describe them? There is nothing here on earth to convey the idea. I am helpless. (Swami Ji) Introduction In the Hidayatnama, Swami Ji extols the spiritual practice of Surat Shabd Yoga, meditation on the inner Light and Sound under the guidance of a genuine Sant Sat Guru. Baba Sawan Singh, in commenting on a poem by Kabir, describes the inner journey in similar detail. Both selections are included within these pages. Also included are excerpts from the book The Enchanted Land written by professor and researcher David Lane who provides a nice description of Surat Shabd Yoga and a commentary on Swami Ji’s Hidayatname, which some may find interesting. The following is Lane’s description of Surat Shabd Yoga: Unlike other yogic disciplines in India, such as kundalini, Surat Shabd Yoga does not advocate breath control (pranayama) or a series of physical postures (asanas/mudras) as part of its practice. Rather, it is concerned with withdrawing consciousness from the nine apertures of the body (eyes, ears, nose, mouth, genitals, and alimentary canal) and transcending the corporeal frame and its limitations altogether. This is accomplished by attaching the mind's attention to an inner light and sound which is believed to be radiating behind the proverbial "tenth door" (the "third eye" of the Hindus), anatomically located behind and slightly above the physical eyes. -
Divine Light and Melodies Lead the Way: the Santmat Tradition of Bihar
religions Article Divine Light and Melodies Lead the Way: The Santmat Tradition of Bihar Veena R. Howard Department of Philosophy, California State University, Fresno, CA 93740, USA; [email protected] Received: 22 February 2019; Accepted: 20 March 2019; Published: 27 March 2019 Abstract: This paper focuses on the branch of Santmat (thus far, unstudied by scholars of Indian religions), prevalent in the rural areas of Bihar, India. Santmat—literally meaning “the Path of Sants” or “Point of View of the Sants”—of Bihar represents a unique synthesis of the elements of the Vedic traditions, rural Hindu practices, and esoteric experiences, as recorded in the poetry of the medieval Sant Tradition. I characterize this tradition as “Santmat of Bihar” to differentiate it from the other branches of Santmat. The tradition has spread to all parts of India, but its highest concentration remains in Bihar. Maharishi Mehi, a twentieth-century Sant from Bihar State, identifies Santmat’s goal as ´santi¯ . Maharishi Mehi defines S´anti¯ as the state of deep stillness, equilibrium, and the unity with the Divine. He considers those individuals sants who are established in this state. The state of sublime peace is equally available to all human beings, irrespective of gender, religion, ethnicity, or status. However, it requires a systematic path. Drawing on the writings of the texts of Sanatana¯ Dharma, teachings of the Sants and personal experiences, Maharishi Mehi lays out a systematic path that encompasses the moral observances and detailed esoteric experiences. He also provides an in-depth description of the esoteric practices of divine light (dr.s.ti yoga) and sound (surat ´sabdayoga) in the inner meditation.
