About: Undecided. Many college students start their college journey as undecided in their course of study or major. Quincy College and the Quincy College First Year Seminar Program are hosting free, open to the public events during the month of October to help current students, prospective students, friends, and family explore the variety of academic programs and career pathways at Quincy College. Whether you've decided on your program of study or are still exploring your options, this event is for you!
Held on both Quincy College's Quincy and Plymouth Campuses, faculty from Quincy College's different areas of study along with the Offices of Career Services, Academic Advising, and Admissions will be available to answer questions, provide class and program information, as well as discuss career and transfer opportunities. Prospective students will also be able to apply to Quincy College and benefit from on-the-spot admissions. Snacks will be available and raffles will be held during each event.
These drop-in events are hosted by Quincy College First Year Seminar and are run by Meghan Cassidy, Director of First Year Seminar and Retention Strategies at Quincy College. Nationally, students who enroll in a First Year Seminar course produce a higher GPA, have higher retention rates at that school, and higher graduation rates.
