Second Grade School Supply List Virtual Learning This is an initial list of supplies. Other supplies may be requested as the year progresses. ● Computer (If your child does not have a chromebook, desktop, or laptop to use, please make sure you sign up to check out a chromebook from school. The use of an ipad, tablet, or phone for virtual instruction is not preferred.) ● headphones ● 2 spiral notebooks (wide ruled) ● pencils-(suggested brands: Ticonderoga or Dixon) ● 1 high polymer eraser (suggested brands: Staedtler Mars or Pentel) ● 1 small enclosed personal pencil sharpener ● black or blue ink pens ● crayons or colored pencils ● 1 pair of child size scissors ● small lined personal white board ● thin white board pens (blue or black) ● white board eraser or sock In Person Learning Second Grade Student’s personal supplies: Please remove all personal supplies from any packaging, label each item with your child’s name, and place all items in your child’s pencil box. ● 1 small basic plastic pencil box to hold supplies (approx. 8 in x 5 in x 2 ½ in; no locks, mirrors, etc.) ● 2 spiral notebooks (wide ruled) -can use same notebooks from virtual learning ● 2 Mead Five Star two plastic pocket folders ● 1 set of Crayola twistable colored pencils ● 1 highlighter ● 2 black extra fine point “Flair” markers by Paper Mate ● 2 black fine point Sharpies ● 4 small glue sticks (Elmer’s brand preferred) ● 2 red correcting pens ● 1 pair of child size scissors ● 1 High Polymer eraser (Staedtler Mars or Pentel) ● 1 small enclosed personal pencil sharpener Classroom supplies: ● 2 dozen sharpened pencils (Ticonderoga or Dixon brands are best) ● 2 BLACK EXPO dry erase markers (not low odor) ● 1 ream of white copy paper ● 1 box of Kleenex ● 1 container of disinfecting wipes .
