Plan for Air, Dust Suppressron Air or dust expected to be generated from drilling process, hauling roads, places of excavation etc.., will be suppressed by periodical wetting of land by water spraying Plan for Noise Control Quarrying of Rough Stone will be carried out by drilling and blasting by using low power explosives, and hence, noise will be minimum. However, periodical noise level monitoring will

24 be carried out to check level in and quarry site.

Environmental Impact Factors to be considered for E Assessment Statement l. Dust generation, Describing Impact on mining 2. Land desradation on the next SIX years 3. Stabilization and vegetation of dumps 4. Adverse effect on water regime 5. Socio economic benefits arising out of Mining. 6. Noise and Vibration. Dust is expected to be generated from drilling, hauling roads; place ofexcavation etc and it will be suppressed by periodical wettins of lands. b. Land desradation Land degradation is by means of cutting the trees and removal of fertile soil does not arise. Proposed usage of land for the next FIVE years shall be less than 0.62.5 hectare. Afforestation will be started during the first year of mining operation itself. c. Stabilization and The topsoil will be spread over the non-active dumps along vegetation of dumps the slope and edges to plant tree saplings to form vegetal cover over the dumps. Such vegetal cover will prevent erosion of dumps during rainy seasons. d. Measures to minimtze There are no chemicals of high metals and no hazardous Adverse effect on substances are likely to be quarried during the quarrying of water regime Rough Stone and hence, the in no way tiie quality of ground water will be affected. The water to be pumped will be pure and potable and therefore it will not affect any water regime

ofthe area. e. Socio economic l. To provide Employment opportunities of the nearby benefits arising out of villagers. mining 2. For the cultural development of the nearby villagers. f.
