VAT) British Showjumping Entries: (see details of classes) CLOSING DATE FOR ALL CLASSES – 17th June 2019 ABSOLUTELY NO LATE ENTRIES No substitutions will be taken after the closing date Entries to be made online via www.showingscene.com Or by post using the official Horse Section Entry Forms PRIZE MONEY All Classes (except Foal Classes & British Showjumping Classes) £30 £20 £10 Foal Classes £15 £10 £5 INFORMATION FOR EXHIBITORS Equine Influenza Update: In order to attend the 2019 Stithians Show all horses & ponies must have been vaccinated for Equine Influenza to comply with the requirements of the primary course (1st vaccination and then 2nd vaccination between 21 – 92 days later), followed by the first booster (150 – 215 days) and all subsequent boosters. Horses may compete having received the primary course and prior to the first booster but not within 7 days of receiving a vaccine dose. Horses must have been vaccinated within 6 months before the show but not less than 7 days of arriving at the show. Foals In-foal mares that have already had vaccinations of primary Equine Influenza course should be vaccinated 4-6 weeks before the foal is due to be born. Foals should be vaccinated for Equine Influenza at 6 months to commence their primary course. We urge all owners to adhere to strict biosecurity protocols at all times. Vaccinations are subject to local risk assessments by the attending veterinarians. Please note that neither vaccination certificates nor passports should be sent to the show office prior to the event. However, ransom checks will be carried out on the showground during the show. Additional information can be found here: https://bef.co.uk/News-Detail.aspx?news=latest-bef-advice-to-shows This show is affiliated to Sports Horse Breeding of Great Britain (SHB(GB)) and classes 10-13 & 15 are held under their rules. Class 10 must have a valid JMB certificate. Only horses registered with SHB (GB) an who are also registered on the current year’s Show Hunter Register are eligible to enter in Qualifying classes for Ridden and Working Hunter Championships and the Show Hunter Registration Number must be quoted on entry forms. Any horse that is entered for a Qualifying Class without first being in the Show Hunter Register cannot subsequently be registered and therefore will not be eligible for entry in any qualifying classes for the remainder of the season. Competitors may compete on a day ticket and may have a maximum of two day tickets per season. Each day ticket in valid for one show and it covers owner and rider membership together with horse registration/over stamp for that show. If the class is a qualifying class for RIHS, in order for the qualification to be valid, application for full owner/rider membership and horse registration/over stamp must be received in the SHB (GB) office within 14 days. It also has much industrial heritage mainly associated with the Tin Mining and the mining of other ores. It has recently gained World Heritage Status for the remaining archaeology and historical buildings associated with its mining past. Much of this heritage can be found around the industrial towns of Camborne and Redruth. There is also heritage from the China Clay industry in the St Austell area. Cornwall’s countryside is famous for its quaint narrow lanes and stone ‘hedges’. However availability of bridleways in Cornwall is very varied. Many mistakes were made when the definitive map was drawn. Many old lanes and farm tracks were not classified as either bridleways or roads, as neither were many of the historic moorland routes. Many bridleways although on the map are inaccessible or otherwise unusable. Cornwall County Council has taken full advantage of the County’s heritage to acquire grants for its preservation and, at the same time, develop multi-user trails for the benefit of Cyclists, Riders and Walkers.
