Program Code: sac.anth.aat Associate in Arts in Anthropology for Transfer 2019-2020 The Associate in Arts in Anthropology for Transfer (AA-T in Anthropology) is designed to prepare students for transfer into the CSU system to complete a baccalaureate degree in Anthropology. Completion of the Associate in Arts in Anthropology for Transfer degree also provides guaranteed admission with junior status to the CSU system, although not to a particular campus or major. Upon completion of the Associate in Arts in Anthropology for Transfer (AA-T in Anthropology) students will have an understanding of both the breadth and depth of the Anthropology discipline. This knowledge will be grounded in the comprehension of Anthropology principles, concepts, ideas, theories, research, and terminology. Students will also have the capacity to write and think in a critical and analytical way about issues pertaining to Anthropology and its application. Learning Outcome(s): Students will recognize and analyze the complex diversity of humans and their ancestors by examining our biological, cultural and evolutionary adaptation utilizing the scientific method.
