The global pandemic has changed the usual format of many events, so now for the second year we are publishing the catalog in a convenient web format. In the 10 years that have passed since the release of the first catalog, we have come a long way. Since 2012, when RAFA was formed, the number of animation studios in Russia has doubled, and the production of animation has grown more than 5 times. Today RAFA unites more than 60 animation studios from 7 regions of Russia, which animation is adapted into 60 languages and distributed in more than 150 countries of the world.     Festival Russenko, 6Ème Édition

    Organisé par la ville du Kremlin-Bicêtre, le festival RussenKo 2015 présente sa 6ème édition les 30, 31 janvier et 1er février 2015. Fort de plus de 7000 visiteurs venus de tous les horizons en 2014, le festival des cultures russes et russophones fait le pari de la complexité, de l’éclectisme, de la nouveauté, de l’ouverture. Il poursuit son objectif initial: tisser des liens entre les citoyens et établir des passerelles entre la France, la Russie et les pays russophones. Pour cette nouvelle édition, l’image devient le cœur du festival avec deux expositions photographiques présentées par deux partenaires de renom le Musée d’Art Multimédia de Moscou et la galerie Polka (Paris). RussenKo 2015 s’aventure dans de nouveaux espaces gastronomiques avec les « nouveaux fermiers » du collectif Lavka Lavka (Moscou), s’ouvre à de nouvelles scènes avec les artistes du festival de musiques actuelles Afisha Picnic (Moscou), découvre de nouvelles formes artistiques avec le street artiste Radya (Ekaterinbourg). RussenKo offre un espace de réflexion et de discussion avec des tables rondes géopolitiques et sociétales, notamment une table ronde autour de la « situation » ukrainienne, en partenariat avec RFI. Les journées littéraires de RussenKo s’ouvrent aux réflexions et travaux de l’auteur Dmitri Bortnikov, accueilli en résidence sur la ville du Kremlin-Bicêtre. L’art du clown est également présent cette année avec la création clownesque franco-russe Kanikuly de la compagnie Le Bateau de Papier. Enfin, RussenKo reste avant tout une rencontre entre territoires, puisque la Ville du Kremlin-Bicêtre accueillera des artistes et des créations du district de Dmitrov (Région de Moscou), de la région de Novossibirsk (sud-ouest de la Sibérie), de la ville d’Irkoutsk (capitale de la Sibérie Orientale).

This one is a bit larger and ready for printing. Other than the writers, the team producing these editions is all volunteer. I find they’ve been doing a great job. If you are interested in having more of a say in your ASIFA Magazine, do reach out to your local chapter board representative. But not just the Magazine. ASIFA always needs volunteers.
