The rapid development of technology and new media has resulted in complex legal issues and new legal regulations for the entire music industry.

The Certified Programme “Music and Law” deals with the main areas of law in the music industry and the current challenges associated with it. It is designed to convey relevant basic knowledge of the European legal situation, with regard to contract law, copyright law, event legislation, labour and tax laws among others, and also deals with the legal particularities of e-commerce. The Certified Programme “Contemporary Music. Presentation - Communication - Education” is directed towards musicians, teachers and composers who are looking to acquire a deep knowledge of the developments in composition after the year 1945.
