We received over 1,300 submissions, accompanied by inspiring and glowing endorsements of our community treasurers. 8 RECOGNISING THE UNSUNG HEROES OF AUSTRALIAN COMMUNITIES Not-for-profit organisations are the fabric which holds our nation together. We all, in turn rely heavily on our community treasurers who work tirelessly to ensure that our not-for-profit sector remains well placed to provide assistance to the most vulnerable members of our society.
