Additional Information Selected high school seniors from Harnett County will be able to attend Central Carolina Community College and (with one summer class) will earn an 18-hour Certificate in Electronics Technology during their senior year at high school. All coursework earned may be applied to one of three Associate in Applied Science Degree programs at the college, following high school graduation.

The three programs are: Electronics Technology, Engineering Technology, or Laser and Photonics Technology. For seniors planning to transfer to a university in a technical or engineering field, the 18-hour certificate in Electronics Technology will provide a strong foundation for technical courses at the university.
