Annual EEO Public File Report Form Stations WLII-DT/WSUR-DT/WSTE-DT/ WKAQ(AM)/ WKAQ-FM/ WUKQ(AM)/ WUKQ-FM/ WYEL(AM) The purpose of this EEO Public File Report (“Report”) is to comply with Section 73.2080(c) (6) of the FCC’s 2002 EEO Rule. This Report has been prepared on WLII-DT/WSUR-DT/WSTE-DT/ WKAQ(AM)/ WKAQ-FM/ WUKQ(AM)/ WUKQ-FM/ WYEL(AM) and is required to be placed in the public inspection files of these stations, and posted on their websites, if they have websites. This Report has been also prepared on behalf of the Station Employment Unit that is comprised of the following station(s): WLII-DT, WSUR-DT, WSTE-DT, WKAQ(AM), WKAQ-FM, WUKQ(AM), WUKQ-FM, WYEL(AM) and is required to be placed in the public inspection files of these stations, and posted on their websites, if they have websites. The information contained in this Report covers the time period beginning October 1, 2014 to and including September 30, 2015. The FCC’s 2002 EEO Rule requires that this Report contain the following information: 1. A list of all full-time vacancies filled by the Station(s) comprising the Station Employment Unit during the Applicable Period; 2. For each such vacancy, the recruitment source(s) utilized to fill the vacancy (including, if applicable, organizations entitled to notification pursuant to Section 73.2080(c)(1)(ii) of the new EEO Rule, which should be separately identified), identified by name, address, contact person and telephone number; 3. Communications Status Report for Areas Impacted by Hurricane Maria October 23, 2017 The following is a report on the status of communications services in geographic areas impacted by Hurricane Maria as of October 23, 2017 at 11:00 AM EDT. This report incorporates network outage data submitted by communications providers to the Federal Communications Commission’s Disaster Information Reporting System (DIRS). DIRS is currently activated for all counties in Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Note that the operational status of communications services during a disaster may evolve rapidly, and this report represents a snapshot in time. It should also be noted that some communications providers have not yet reported in DIRS, so outage information almost certainly is not complete. The following counties are in the geographic area that was covered by the DIRS activation as of this morning (the “disaster area”). BMC proposes to (1) relocate the LPFM service to a portion of this spectrum space; (2) expand the NCE service into the adjacent portion of this band; and (3) provide for the conversion and migration of all AM stations into the remaining portion of the band over an extended period of time and with digital transmissions only. -
