The Aguasabon Falls Campground is located immediately upon entering Terrace Bay from the West and features 45 full hook-up trailer sites, 20 tent sites, 4 pull-through sites, and a self- contained cabin with kitchenette, bathroom, shower and loft.

Pricing Information Rates for 2007 were: camping sites $17-$27, cabin rental $60. Senior citizens receive a discount and accepted forms of payment include Visa, MasterCard, American Express, debit, cash and travelers’’ cheques.

The campground is seasonal and is open from May to October. Local and regional pamphlets and brochures are available for guests. Reservations can be made through the website or by phone. A credit card number is required to make a reservation with 24 hours notice required for cancellations. Cabin for Rent

Services/Amenities Amenities include a convenience store, showers and washroom, payphone, mini- golf, fire rings, firewood, playground and dump station. The store is located on site and sells products such as fishing/hunting licenses, RV/camping gear, souvenirs, and snacks. In addition, canoes and a winter sleigh can be rented at the store. Pets are allowed on the campground. There is a TV hookup available to campers and the owners live on-site and speak English and French. Aguasabon Falls is a “Good Sam” park. The Imperial Motel is located in the centre of Terrace Bay beside Simcoe Plaza on highway 17 and features 21 air conditioned rooms on two levels with some smoking rooms available. The motel is connected to Drifters Family Restaurant and Imperial Lounge and offers an Esso gas station, and a convenience store.

Pricing Information The motel is open year round and accepts payment with Visa, MasterCard, American Express debit, and cash. Rooms range in price from $59 - $89 with some discounts available. Guests can reserve a room by phone or by email at [email protected]. A credit card number is required for making a reservation and 24 hours should be given for cancellations. Check-out is at 11:00 a.m.

Services/Amenities Each room includes a coffee maker with in- room complimentary coffee and a fridge. A microwave is provided in the lobby and wireless internet is available throughout the motel. Some rooms are designated as pet friendly and TVs are provided for guests. Room service and wake-up call service are also available. The motel provides guests with tourist pamphlets and brochures.

The Norwood Motel is located in the centre of Terrace Bay beside Simcoe Plaza on Highway 17 and features 16 ground floor units with parking in front of the room and some available smoking rooms. The motel offers a large parking lot and is within walking distance to restaurants, gift shops, a pharmacy, grocery store, a beer/liquor store, and a convenience store.

Pricing Information Room prices range from $65 to $77 a night with bathrooms that feature a shower and bathtub combination. The motel is open year round and accepts payment with Visa, American Express, MasterCard, traveler’s cheques, debit, and cash. Reservations can be made with a credit card and 24 hours should be given for cancellations. The check-out time is 11:00 a.m.

Service/Amenities Coffee makers, fridges, telephones with message service, and microwaves are included in each of the rooms. Wireless internet is available for guests throughout the motel. Pets are allowed in the hotel. A full cable package is available for guests to watch television. Wake-up calls, extended

The Red Dog Inn is a newly renovated facility with a fully licensed dining located in the centre of Terrace Bay beside Simcoe Plaza on Highway 17. The Inn features 41 rooms on two levels with some smoking rooms available. The rooms are air conditioned and wheelchair accessible through the back of the building and the Inn is located near the Terrace Bay snowmobile trail.

Pricing Information The rooms range in price from $79 to $99 a night. Senior citizen discounts are offered. Every form of payment is accepted except for personal cheques. The Red Dog Inn is open all year round. Guests can make a reservation by phone. Advance notice is not required to make a reservation, but a credit card is needed. A reservation is preferred is when planning on booking a room and 24 hours notice is required for cancellations. A credit card number is required when making a reservation. The Circle Route Motel is located on the East end of Schreiber on highway 17 and features 20 units with some air conditioned rooms and some smoking rooms available.

Pricing Information Single rooms featuring one double-sized bed are priced at $49.95 plus tax. Double rooms with two double-sized beds are $54.95 plus tax. A room with a queen bed and pullout couch and air conditioning is priced at $59.95 plus tax. Senior and corporate discounts are offered. All major credit cards are accepted at the Circle Route motel. Well behaved pets are allowed.

Reservations/Cancellations The Circle Route Motel is open year round and guests can make a reservation by phoning (807) 824-2452, or through email at www.voyageuresso.ca or [email protected]. Advance notice is usually not needed when making a reservation and no deposit is required .Credit Card info may be required to guarantee reservation. Otherwise rooms are held until 8:00 PM. Guests can check-in anytime, but check-out time is at 11 am. Late check-outs are available upon request. The owner prefers that guests cancel no later than 4 p.m. on the day of the reservation.

Services/Amenities Free wireless internet is provided in each room. Pets are welcome in the motel. Cable television is available to guests. Wake-up call services are provided. The Sunset motel is located on the Eastern Side of Schreiber on Highway 17 and features 10 ground level units with some air conditioning and some smoking rooms available.

Pricing Information Rooms are priced at $45 and up. Accepted forms of payment are Visa, MasterCard and debit. Discounts may be given if requested by the guest. Sunset Motel is open year round. The owner does take reservations depending on how far ahead they are made. He prefers that they not be made months in advance due to the problems associated with cancellations. A credit card number is required to make a reservation. Guests can check in and out at any time.

The Travel Rest Trailer Park is located on Highway 17 in Schreiber and features 35 campsites with sewer, water and electrical hook-ups (30 amp.) and some pull-through sites are available.

Pricing Information The price of camping sites ranges from $15 to $25. Travel Rest Trailer Park also offers senior citizens a discount of 10% as well as members of the “Explorer RV” association. Accepted forms of payment include MasterCard, Visa, American Express, debit and cash. The Travel Rest is open from May 1st to November 15th. Guests can make a reservation by phoning (807) 824– 2485, or sending an email to [email protected]/. No advance notice or deposit is required when making a reservation.

Services/Amenities Amenities on site include city water, heated showers and bathrooms, a dumping station, CATV, a children’s playground, horseshoe pits, a guest lounge and grocery supplies. Wireless internet service is available. Pets are welcome at the Travel Rest. Cable television is available. There is a heated outdoor swimming pool for guests and Security is provided on the premises. Travel Rest is a member of “Explorer R.V. Association”.

The Villa Bianca Inn is located in the centre of Schreiber on Highway 17 and features 30 units including smoking rooms. The motel has two stories with wheelchair access and is part of a larger complex which includes a gas bar, convenience store and fast food outlets. The business is seasonal and closes in the winter months.

Pricing Information Rooms range in price from $49 to $79 a night. All major credit cards are accepted. Villa Bianca offers both senior and military discounts. Reservations are not required at the Villa Bianca and guests can check in and out at any time. 24 hours notice prior to the expected stay is preferred when cancelling a room. The Island Shores Bed & Breakfast is located on the main street in Rossport and currently offers two rooms. Three rooms will be available after renovations are completed in June 2008.

Pricing Information Room pricing ranges from $89 to $110 based on two persons. Family, extended stay and corporate rates are available and a special Weekend Getaway package is offered from October 1st through May 1st. The following payment types: Cash, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, JCB cards, Travellers’ Cheques, Interac, and BBCanada gift certificates. Island Shores is open all year round. Reservations can be made by phone or by email with a credit card number. Guests can send the owners an e-mail through the website. Check- in is at 4.00p.m., with Check out at 11:00 a.m. However, both times are flexible with advance notice. Reservations cancelled less than 48 hours prior to arrival may be subject to room charge if it cannot be re-booked.

Services/Amenities Island Shores is located on a beautifully landscaped property overlooking Lake Superior. All rooms have either ensuite bathrooms with whirlpool tubs or private bathrooms. There is Wireless High Speed Internet, and pets are allowed, with some restrictions. Guests may enjoy comfortable seating in front of the fireplace in the common room, with an extensive reading library and a DVD collection of over 700 titles. There is also a large selection of classic indoor or outdoor games. Hot Gourmet breakfast with menu choices is served at the convenience of guests. The owners can arrange reservations or sightseeing tours, and can drop off and pick up guests who are hiking, kayaking or exploring local points of attraction.

Island Shores is located near two fine dining restaurants, Island Pottery, Forget-Me-Not Gift Shop, Rossport Museum, Superior Front View of the House Outfitters, Casque Isle Hiking Trail, Waterfalls and Beaches.

The cabins are wheelchair accessible as is the dining room. The inn is operated from May to November and maintains the century old charm it possessed when it was built in 1884 to accommodate passengers from the Canadian Pacific Railway.

Pricing Information The prices of rooms range from $85 to $115. The inn does not offer any packages or discounts. Accepted forms of payment include Visa, MasterCard, travelers’ cheques and Canadian and U.S. currency. The Rossport Inn is a seasonal country inn open from May to November with peak months being July, August and September. Guests can reserve a room by phone at 824 – 3213 or 1–877–824–4032 (toll-free). Reservations can also be made in person. A credit card number or deposit is required when making a reservation. Check in is after 3 p.m. and check-out is 11 a.m. The owner prefers that cancellations occur no later than noon on the day prior to the reservation.

Services/Amenities Each cabin has a full bathroom and electric heat and overlooks Rossport Harbour. One cabin has a full kitchen. Each room is beautifully decorated and has balcony access. There is a sauna available for guests. The Inn features a restaurant available to over night guests only. The restaurant specializes in locally caught fresh fish but also offers steak, lamb, chicken, seafood, homemade soups, salads, breads and deserts. The Inn is also licensed. Pets are allowed by prior arrangement in specific One of the Rooms in the Inn cabins. Wake-up call services are available to guests. Internet service is available through the phone line. The Rossport Inn is located near beaches and a playground, Rainbow Falls Provincial Park, Rossport Provincial Park, Rossport Museum, a boat launch/dock and Superior Outfitters, which provides kayak rentals and lessons.

B & B On The Beach is situated 5 km East of Rossport on the shore of Lake Superior. The newly renovated log cabin was built in 1949 and features 2 private queen rooms, 3 shared washrooms, a spacious guest area and a balcony.

Pricing Information B & B On The Beach is open year round and the room rate is $100 per night (double occupancy), or $75 per night (single occupancy) or $150 per night (family rate) tax included. This includes a full gourmet breakfast. Extended rates are available. Accepted forms of payment are Visa, MasterCard, American Express, debit, and cash. Guests are advised to book early and can make a reservation by phone or email.

Services/ Amenities Amenities include wireless high speed internet, satellite television with surround sound, movie package with specialty channels, a selection of movies and music, pool table, ping pong table, Jacuzzi bath tub, archery instructions, full universal gym, a wood fired sauna and a fridge and barbecue (assisted kitchen access). Guests are provided with a wonderful gourmet breakfast with homemade bread, jams, crepes, omelette, rhubarb juice, etc. There are many things to do including boating, swimming, sea-doing, scuba diving, bird watching, cross country skiing, kayaking and canoeing, big lake and river fishing, and more.

The Serendipity Gardens Cafe and Guest House is located on the main street in Rossport just off of Highway 17 and features four spacious studio units that are air conditioned. There are two levels to the guest houses and the lower two units are wheelchair accessible.

Pricing Information The Serendipity Gardens is open year round and the room rate is $100 plus taxes per room per night. This price includes a complimentary continental breakfast. Accepted forms of payment are Visa, MasterCard, debit and cash. No advance notice or deposit is required when making reservations. You can make a reservation by phone at 824-2890, or by sending an email to [email protected] and 24 hours is required for cancellations. The check-out time is 11:00 a.m.

Services/Amenities Room amenities include full bathrooms and micro- kitchens with a fridge, coffee maker, sink and microwave. Coffee, teas and hot chocolate are also provided. A continental breakfast is complimentary and provided in-room. Pets are allowed in the guest rooms. Bell Expressvu satellite TV is available for guests with a complete package. Gourmet carry-out is available from the café. There is a dial-up data port in the payphone in the entrance hall for Internet users. The Coach House motel is located in Jackfish (20 km East of Terrace Bay) on Highway 17 and is situated on 7 acres of private property surround by open wilderness. The motel features 10 non- smoking rooms, 1 smoking room and wheel chair accessibility throughout the motel.

Pricing Information The prices of rooms range from $49 to $73 per night plus tax with accepted payment types including: Visa, MasterCard, debit, and Canadian and U.S. currency. The Coach House Motel is seasonal and is open from April to November. Guests can reserve a room by phone at 825- 9113, or email at [email protected]. A deposit is not required for reservations. The main office closes at 11 p.m., so guests must check-in before then. Check-out time is 11:00 a.m. The owner prefers that 24 hour notice be given for cancellations. Coach House Dining Area Services/Amenities The Coach House offers light dinners and full breakfasts daily to registered guests only, at an additional charge. Services/Amenities Jackfish Lake features the Amethyst gift shop, a dining room that serves home cooked meals and a coffee shop. Pricing Information Neys Lunch and Campground offers 14 sites with ample room to accommodate RVs up to 15m (50 feet) in length and provide water, sewer, 15 amp electrical service and internet. A Non electrical site is priced at $20.00 per night, serviced site at $30.00 per night, plus HST. Also offered are two all season cabins. The cabin called Mink Maison is priced at $40.00 per night and Neys Nook at $50.00 per night plus HST.
