Item No 2: Back Mounting Frame Backmounting frames consist of U-shaped stainless-steel sheet, thickness of SS sheet 1 mm, well furnish as per enclosed Figure 3. Back mount frames to mount 10 numbers of 10 pair IDC (insulation displacement connector) as given in figure-1. Hole pattern 1, pitch=22.5 mm; depth=22mm, 11 modules.

Item No 4. MDF (Main Distribution Frame) Box for telephone exchange for 2000 pair: for PSTN telephone cable connections of PVC insulated, twisted pair, single strand copper conductor of 0.5 mm diameter, 10/ 20/ 25/ 50/ 100 pair cables, made of 16 AWG MS sheet in overall size of 5 feet Height, 4 feet Width, 6 inch Depth, properly machined and finished and painted with ‘ISI’ make, cream color powder coating over two coats of red- oxide and fitted with connecting / disconnecting modules (2/10) and SS made, back mounting frames for 2000 pairs and having provisions for cable entry cut outs, cable tie rings and supports, lockable front opening 2 doors with magnetic door stoppers and internal lock & key and mounting arrangement at bottom and back face. This includes the supply of mounting stand for above MDF, made of 45 mm x 45 mm, 4 mm thick MS (Mild Steel) angle iron of base size slightly greater than 4 feet x 6 inch for the clearance with MDF bottom face to rest and properly fabricated with 4 legs of 1 foot height, by cutting, welding, grinding, finishing and double coated with black paint over 2 coats of red oxide.
Item No 5. Intermediate Distribution Frame (IDF) Box for Telephone Exchange (without connecting modules) of size : 1500 mm Height , 480 mm Width, 180 mm, Depth is to be designed, fabricated & supplied made of MS sheet of thickness 1.2 mm similar to the drawing (Figure-4) enclosed. The supplier will have to ensure the use of a good quality MS sheet and best finished workmanship in cutting, welding, grinding and bending work of fabrication. 2. The IDF Box should have the provision for mounting of “connecting / disconnecting modules (2/10)” make SS back mounting frames and Connecting modules in 2 columns as shown in the drawing (Figure-5) enclosed and have the full size front doors-2 Nos. fitted with panel lock & key on door with door handle , door stopper & door seals. 3. The IDF Box should also have the provision for cable run & cable tie at both sides & center and also cable cutouts of oval shaped, size; 5”x 10” – 2 Nos. at top and bottom for cable entry, properly sealed with MS sheet. 4. The IDF Box should have mounting arrangement on the wall, 08 Nos. of holes on back side of panel, (4 Nos. mounting holes on left & 4 Nos. on right side, each of black panel. 5. The IDF Box should be painted with one coat of red-oxide and two (2) coats of slate gray color powder coated paint, both ISI make.
