Government of India Department of Space Indian Space Program - Highlights Achievements January 2014 to January 2018 16 February, 2018 Highlights of 4 year Achievements ❖ISRO successfully accomplished 48 missions • 21 Launch Vehicle missions - 16 PSLV, 4 GSLV MkII, 1 GSLV MkIII • 24 Satellite missions - 8 Communication; 7 Earth Observation; 6 Cartosat-2 Imagery Navigation, 1 Space Science, 1 Microsat and CARE (+ a Nanosatellite) • 3 Technology Demonstrators - Successful Technology Demonstrators Re-usable Launch Vehicle (RLV-TD), Scramjet Air-breathing Propulsion Technology & Crew Module Atmospheric Re-entry Experiment Important achievements: • GSLV with Indigenous CryoStage - 4 successful launches, indigenous capability with 2 Ton class satellite to GTO GSLV-Mk-II • GSLV-Mk-III with Indigenous CryoStage: First Developmental flight successfully conducted on 05 June 2017. Launch of 4 Ton class satellite to GTO. • 202 Foreign Satellites from 24 Countries launched by PSLV • Adv.
