Game- Mini

SUPPLIES  Feud Categories (see Resources)  Tape  Pens or pencils  Optional: buzzer or bell SET UP Print the Feud Categories and tape it to the wall. RELATE Share with the family that they’re going to play a version of the “Family Feud.” Point out the categories taped to the walls and ask everyone to write their answers. Each category needs only five answers. Make sure they put their name next to their answers. Once everyone writes down at least one answer, gather the papers and split everyone into two teams. How to Play: Step 1: Invite one person from each team to be the first contestants and come to the front of the room. Step 2: Read one of the statements from one of the categories. (Example: “Name something you might find in your little sister’s room.”) Step 3: The first child to hit the buzzer (or raise his hand) gets to answer first. He must not give the answer he wrote. Step 4: If the person gives an answer that’s listed, he gets to decide whether the members of his team will guess the remaining four answers or pass on that task to the other team. Step 5: The people on the team chosen will give their guesses for the category. Step 6: If the team guesses all of the answers for that category, it gets 10 points. If the team fails to guess all of the answers, the other team gets a chance to guess. At this point, the other team only needs to guess one of the answers to get 10 points. Step 7: Begin a second round in a new category with a new contestant from each team. Step 8: Play until one team reaches 30 points or time runs out.
