Lord Black of Brentwood Chairman Elect 4 UPBEAT SPRING 2017 NEWS IN BRIEF NATIONAL PORTRAIT GALLERY PERFORMANCE FOR TAYLOR WESSING PHOTOGRAPHIC PORTRAIT PRIZE Works by 13 RCM composers, written in response to the Taylor Wessing Photographic Portrait Prize 2016, were premiered by RCM musicians at a special concert at the National Portrait Gallery in December. Under the guidance of the RCM Composition Faculty and Creative Careers Centre, the composers were each inspired by a different work featured in this leading international contemporary photographic competition.
