102.9 WMGK Teams up with American Red Cross to Host MGK's 2nd Annual Rock and Roll Up Your Sleeve Blood Drive

Philadelphia – 102.9 WMGK and the American Red Cross are teaming up to host the 2nd Annual 102.9 MGK Rock and Roll Up Your Sleeve Blood Drive scheduled for October 6, 2012 from 7am to 3pm at the Flyers Skate Zone in Voorhees, NJ (601 Laurel Oak Road, Voorhees, NJ 08043).

WMGK hopes their listeners can contribute 450 units of blood that will help the Red Cross maintain a stable blood supply

All presenting donors receive a limited edition, WMGK Blood Drive t-shirt, a coupon for free skate rental at Flyers Skate Zone as well as the chance to register one of two autographed pucks signed by the Flyers Wayne Simmonds. Members of the MGK full time airstaff will attending the Blood Drive throughout the morning and afternoon to thank listeners for their donations.

Now is the time to help provide a second chance for an accident victim, a new beginning for a cancer patient, or a better tomorrow for a child with sickle cell disease.

Individuals who are 17 years of age (16 with parental permission in PA and NJ), meet weight and height requirements (110 pounds or more, depending on their height) and are in generally good health may be eligible to donate blood. Please bring your Red Cross blood donor card or other form of positive ID when you come to donate.
