MAP (Mentoring Advantage Program) 56 students participated 86% reduction in absences from school and a 46% decrease in behavior referrals. TOP (Teen Outreach Program) In FY2016 we engaged 49 TOP Clubs around the state of Iowa Those clubs reached 709 students resulting in 14,327 hours of service. That’s like one person volunteering around the clock for over 1.5 years! Along with making the building more sustainable by replacing the 1980 HVAC system with high efficiency units, adding insulation to the roof, and Support & Revenue Program Expenditures upgrading all lights to LED, we hope to mirror sustainability in our programming and in our community. Here are our plans for FY2017: Install solar panels to further green our building. Create a partnership with Des Moines Public Schools to reach 150 additional youth with college and career readiness opportunities. Grow our Youth Volunteer Corps (YVC) Program to a gold level affiliate and attend the YVC Summit next fall. Streamline data and evaluation methodology. Pilot TOP in two new high schools and one new middle school.
