Also, the twists were brilliant. She goes with Maeve to raise Enzo from the dead. I knew I would be attached to it since I started it. Adelina, ah, my Adelina… you are so going to die. Then they betrayed her, so she destroyed them all. I mean… I really liked it! It is beautiful and It is dark and I loved it so so much! It's also a really diverse series Adelina and her sister are both dark-skinned woc and Adelina is vision impaired. Even if everyone else thinks it's wrong. Also I loved the idea of the whispers that inhabited Adelina's mind, they were unique and gave life to all the insanity. But the Daggers have told him about her and about the lies she has told. Adelina fucking Amouteru. Adelina won this whole thing. This was a book that I didn't want to finish. Marie Lu what did you do to me??!! But if you had and haven't read this book, he is the boy mentioned by Raffaele who was the boy that couldn't control the rain; Adelina thought they killed them. There is plenty of emotion here too, scenes that made me genuinely upset or feel deeply for the affected characters.
