Planning Division Zoning Districts [email protected] Quick Reference Guide 541-388-5570 option 3 Zoning laws dictate how real property can and cannot be used in certain areas. Zoning laws are established in order to divide the City of Bend into districts of such number, shape and area as may be deemed best suited to promote the public health, safety and general welfare while carrying out the goals set by the Comprehensive Plan. The table below is a summary of the zoning code and is not comprehensive. The examples of permitted uses list are meant to serve as example and are not complete lists. Excluded from this table are examples of allowed conditional uses, which can in the use charts of each zoning district found within the Bend Development Code. Additionally, there are a number of Special Planned Districts whose regulations may supersede those of the underlying zone. These districts are listed at the bottom of this table and are explained fully within Chapter 2.7 of the Bend Development Code.
