Dehşete düşen Mister Miracle oradan kaçarak Justice League’i uyarmaya gitti. Metron adlı tanrı, Wonder Woman’ın kementinin gücü altındayken Anti- Monitor’u durdurmak için gereken bilginin her şeyi bilen koltuğunda olduğunu itiraf etti. Bunun üzerine Wonder Woman Metron’u koltuktan inmeye zorladı ve Batman Mobius Koltuğu üzerinde onun yerini aldı. Batman artık Bilgi Tanrısı’ydı. Bu sırada, Superman ve Lex Luthor Darkseid’a bağlılığını deklare eden Lex’in kız kardeşi Lena tarafından tuzağa düşürüldü. Lena ikisini de Apokolips’e göndermeden önce Lex’i silahıyla vurdu. PETER J. X-Men, Dragon Age, and Religion: Representations of Religion and the Religious in Comic Books, Video Games, and Their Related Media An Honors Thesis submitted in partial fulfillment of the requirements for Honors in International Studies. By Lyndsey Erin Shelton Under the mentorship of Dr. Darin H. Van Tassell ABSTRACT It is a widely accepted notion that a child can only be called stupid for so long before they believe it, can only be treated in a particular way for so long before that is the only way that they know. Why is that notion never applied to how we treat, address, and present religion and the religious to children and young adults? In recent years, questions have been continuously brought up about how we portray violence, sexuality, gender, race, and many other issues in popular media directed towards young people, particularly video games.

Authorized electronic texts of this book are available at www.scatteredworlds.com. DEDICATED TO: Friday, August 30, 1974 Thursday, October 3, 1974 Saturday, August 30, 1980 and most of all, to Friday, April 9, 1982 INTRODUCTION: The Days of Futures Passed This idea for this book came in the year HAL wasn’t born, Skynet didn’t attempt to destroy the human race, and worst of all, the Jupiter II wasn’t launched. All things considered, the real world’s version of the year 1997 was a pale imitation of the momentous year chronicled by many science fiction stories, books, and media. Of course, science fiction has taken it on the chin from reality before. The atom bomb was first used in war on August 6, 1945 — not the 1960’s, as H.G. Wells had told us. On April 12, 1961, Yuri Gagarin in Vostok I — and not Richard Seaton in The Skylark of Space — became the first man in space. Armstrong and Aldrin made the first footprints on the Moon on July 21, 1969 — not Cavor and Bedford, nor even Leslie LeCroix. The closest that the world of 1984 came to universal totalitarianism was Apple Computer’s Superbowl commercial. In 1990, the United States and Russia fought a long-awaited war in the Persian Gulf — but incredibly, almost insultingly, they were on the same side.

EXT. THE LEGION HEADQUARTERS – DAY It looks like the bottom half of a yellow rocketship. On the fifth floor are red fins. A thin white door is on the first floor. Over the door is a sign with Interlac symbols. The headquarters is located within a futuristic city. Several vehicles of different shapes and sizes fly over the skyline. SUPER: METROPOLIS, EARTH 2963 COSMIC ERA DREAM GIRL flies to the headquarters from the side. She is a very stunning platinum blonde. She wears a silver one- piece bathing suit with matching high-heel shoes, a red belt, and a flight ring on her right hand. She comes to a levitating stop next to one of the fins. She turns to it as she strikes a sexy reclining pose. She looks like a centerfold lying on an invisible bed. DREAM GIRL Good morning, Kid Psycho. Please alert Saturn Girl that she needs to read my mind. INT. THE LEGION HEADQUARTERS/MONITOR ROOM – DAY KID PSYCHO sits in front of the screen that shows Dream Girl's image. He has an enlarged head that is wrapped in a special turban. He wears a green costume and a flight ring. He discretely adjusts himself because he is now sexually aroused. Then he presses a button on the console. KID PSYCHO This is Kid Psycho speaking. I will relay that message to Saturn Girl. DREAM GIRL Thank you very much. KID PSYCHO You're welcome. And I also want to thank you for telling the Legion to have me examined. It turns out that I lose a year of my life every time I create a force field.
