Greetings

We have successfully wrapped up 2014 with your support and the assistance of volunteers once again. We thank you heartily for not hesitating to support Saejowi's efforts to help North Korean re-settlers settle down successfully and continue working toward Unification. We publish Saejowi’s annual report in the hopes that more people would join us in our collective effort to create a unified Korea for the sake of our nation's unity and harmony.

The main projects of 2014 were: Medical Assistance to North Korean re-settlers, Re-Settler Counselors Training, the awareness-raising program "I Love You Unification", Sexual Violence Counselors Training, Life Coaching Classes, North-South Coordinators Training, and the SNS initiative (The Unification Train), among others. Saejowi is not only supporting North Korean re-settlers' successful resettlement but also expanding our movement in order to make Unification a nationally supported "Happy Unification".

People often worry that our lives after Unification will be more difficult than before Unification. A Unified Korea will indeed introduce new burdens, but it will also bring gains so substantial that they will offset the costs. We will be able to eliminate division administration costs, increase living space, expand the size of our economy, benefit from a unified wholesome cultural heritage, and improve our national image. Just as our nation has been continuing our five thousand years of history, life post-Unification may be difficult for a while, but a prepared Unification will certainly present us with a brighter future.

The most critical but formidable step in Unification is unifying the two peoples. However, thanks to re-settlers, we can experience and practice Unification beforehand, and these re-settlers can play a significant role in bridging North and South Koreans. Re-settlers are the cornerstones of a bright unified future. Saejowi therefore continues to assist in their settlement, in the hopes that their successful settlement will contribute to the strength of a unified Korea.

Thank you for your continued support throughout our 26 years of history. Yours and volunteers' enduring support and attention give us a new strength to push forward everyday. We hope you can continue working with us

Thank you.

The Korean Nation Saejowi Values

It is time for us to remember that our nation, having gone through all kinds of moments of happiness and sadness together for 5000 years on this small land, is inevitably the community that we share our fate with. We need to truthfully declare how much we love another. If this is , then nationalism indeed, we declare, is the ideology that we should depend on for our liberation.

Projects

Saejowi is a purely non-governmental organization that promotes national reconciliation and cooperation and supports the successful settlement of Re-Settlers, ultimately for the Unification of the Korean Peninsula.

Saejowi's activities can mainly be organized into Medical Assistance to Re-Settlers, Supporting Economic Independence, Unification Education, and "I Love You Unification" Campaign. All of these activities can ultimately be expressed as a rehearsal for Unification, for they all share the goal of achieving peaceful Unification of the Korean Peninsula.

The most urgent matter for Re-Settlers is their physical and mental illnesses resulting from the process of defecting. To address this problem, Saejowi has been providing medical assistance to Re-Settlers. In addition, to help Re-Settlers become independent, Saejowi is connecting the re-settlers to job opportunities and operating a system that can help them acquire professional qualifications (i.e. Professional Counselors System). Furthermore, we are providing Women Re-Settlers with emotion stabilizing programs and life coaching programs so they can become independent.

Moreover, to help Re-Settlers adjust to a new system and culture, Saejowi has been holding lectures for Re-Settlers and providing education sessions, seminars, and forums to members and the general audience.

Meanwhile, Saejowi began a new project "I Love You Unification" to raise awareness on the state of re-settlers in . Through activities such as history field trips and workshops, DMZ bike tours, North-South cultural field trips, and outdoor campaigns, Saejowi is attempting to reduce the 70-year gap of separation and promote social harmony after Unification.

The specifics of each project are as following. 10
