Last October, South Dublin County Council achieved Healthy County status as part of the World Health Organisation’s Healthy Cities and Counties of Ireland Network, which highlights the progressive efforts that have been made here in South Dublin in recent years. The Council’s work has also been recognised by the 2 Mayor’s Introduction award it achieved in the Health and Wellbeing category in the Chambers Ireland “Excellence in Local Government Awards”.
