Anam Cara Galway, the organisation that supports bereaved parents, is holding a parent evening on Wednesday 3rd April at 7:20pm in the Clayton Hotel, Old Monivea Road, Ballybrit, Galway. This event is free and open to all bereaved parents regardless of the age your child died, the circumstances of their death, or whether their death was recent or not.

Baptisms: Booking a Baptism from now on must call to the Parish Office to fill out the ‘Baptism Request Form’ and make arrangements. Dates for Christenings will only be finalised and confirmed when a copy of the child’s Birth Certificate is received and in the Parish Office and all paperwork complete. Arthritis Ireland ,Galway branch, is holding a coffee morning in the Camasu Centre, Doughisha Road,on Friday next 29th beginning at 11.30 am. The morning will include a talk from the Co-ordinator of Employability Galway on the difficulties encountered by and the supports available to people with arthritis who are considering returning to work.

The 6th annual Claregalway 5K fun-run/walk in aid of Claregalway & District Day Care Centre will be held on Tuesday 2nd April at 7pm . Registration will be in the main hall in Coláiste Baile Chláir building from 5.30pm - 6.45pm. Entry fee is €10. Clare River Harriers Athletic Club invites everyone to come along, register and run, jog or walk the 5K (3.1 miles) to raise much needed funds for the Claregalway & District Day Care Centre.
