COMPLIANCE WITH LOCAL RADIO OWNERSHIP RULE KRZQ, Amargosa Valley, NV is located in Nye County, NV which is not located in any Nielsen Metro market thus the contour method of market ownership will be considered. As shown on the attached contour analysis map, there will be at least seven (7) radio stations in the local radio market that includes the proposed facility for KRZQ(FM) on Channel 291C at Amargosa Valley, Nevada (FIN 170180). KNYE(FM), Pahrump, Nevada (FIN 78350) KXTE(FM), Pahrump, Nevada (FIN 2100) KXPT(FM), Las Vegas, Nevada (FIN 38450) KNPR(FM), Las Vegas, Nevada (FIN 79047) KACP(FM), Pahrump, Nevada (FIN 189474) KPKK(FM), Amargosa Valley, Nevada (FIN 87384) KRZQ(FM), Amargosa Valley, Nevada (FIN 170180) Shamrock Communications, Inc. ("Shamrock") is the licensee of KACP(FM) and KRZQ(FM) and is operating KPKK(FM) under a Local Marketing Agreement. While there are many other radio stations that can be included in the local radio market that includes the proposed facility for KRZQ(FM) on Channel 291C at Amargosa Valley, Nevada, it is clear that Shamrock will only have cognizable interests in only three (3) FM stations in this local market. 47 C.F.R. 73.3555(a)(1)(iv) (an applicant may have cognizable interests in up to five (5) commercial stations not more than three (3) in the same service, if there are 14 or fewer stations in the market provided that the party does not control more than 50% of the total number of stations in the market).
