Tampere University INFORMATION AND LINK TO THE SUMMER SCHOOL WEBSITE Join Tampere Summer School 2 – 13 August 2021! Select from 16 interesting courses covering various academic fields, make new international friends and experience the beautiful Finnish summer. Tampere Summer School offers inspiring courses covering various academic fields and up-to-date topics. Our course teachers are top professionals in their fields, and the courses employ multidisciplinary and experimental approaches. The courses are organised by Tampere University and Tampere University of Applied Sciences. All courses are taught in English. The application period of 2021 will take place 1 April - 13 May 2021.
We are currently planning face-to-face teaching for summer 2021. However, we monitor developments linked to the Covid-19-pandemic carefully and will adjust our program if necessary, by the end of April. We will announce information on any changes on our website and social media.
But Summer School is not only about studying. All Summer School students are invited to join our Social Programme! Some social programme events are free of charge, others have a separate fee.
Tampere University Summer School
HOW TO APPLY Tampere Summer School is intended for university and applied university students and graduates from all over the world. We welcome applications from Bachelor, Master and PhD students of all academic fields, but please remember to check course-specific requirements in the course descriptions.
The application period of 2021 will take place 1 April - 13 May 2021. To apply for the Summer School courses, the students need to fill in an online application and submit a motivation letter for the course(s) applied for. Students can be admitted up to two summer school courses.
How to apply to Tampere University Summer School
FEES AND LIVING EXPENSES Course fees are 280 - 700 EUR:

Depending on the type of accommodation, the fee for housing for two weeks is approximately 340 euros.
The Tampere Summer School Social Programme includes activities that are free of charge and activities that are chargeable.
