Please pass the word onto others. Year of the Family for January: Fiat: Mary says Yes. Mary’s “fiat” changed the eternal fate of humankind. In a similar, but lesser way, God will use our “Yes” to His invitations to change the hearts and souls known to Him. But, remember; God will not use us, if we say “no” to Him. Pray that we may never let our selfishness and fear deprive us of the privilege of being part of God’s perfect plan. Families, Pray, Eat, and Play together. Information is on the bulletin board specifying activities or you may visit www.victoriadiocese.org. The books “I Heard God Laugh”, by Matthew Kelly; and “Do Something Beautiful for God” are gifts to you. We ask that you take one per family while supplies last. Enjoy and we wish you a very Blessed New Year. We must remind you to continue to be courteous during Covid-19. We must control our distance in and out of church; the pews are roped off for that reason and you are seated for that purpose. We encourage you to wear a mask, and please sanitize the church premises before leaving with the sanitized wipes provided (Queen of Peace). Let us pray for one another and our families. May God protect us. The Church directory is here. These will be distributed after masses this weekend. It’s important to check your name off as you get your directory. Please pass the word onto others. For those who do not attend mass, you may come by the Church office Monday through Wednesday, 8:30 to noon to obtain your directory. CCD classes for 1st through 5th grades are Wednesday, January 6 at 6 PM through 7:30 PM. The 6th through 11th classes will be held January 13 at 6 PM through 7:30 PM. Prayer for Peace Mary, Queen of Peace, save us all, who have so much trust in you, from wars, hatred, and oppression. Make us all learn to live in peace, and educated ourselves for peace, do what is demanded by justice and respect the rights of every person, so that peace may be firmly established. Amen. Pope Saint John Paul II (1920-2005) .
