The Big “L” Club was established in 1958 and was formed by a group of dedicated supporters to become the of cial sports booster of LHS. The Club’s primary purpose is to support the Lancer Athletic Program while boosting morale. The athletic program now elds more than 60 teams at the varsity, junior varsity, and freshman levels. The Big “L” Club supports the Athletic Program throughout the entire year sponsoring the Fall, Winter, and Spring Awards nights presenting award plaques to the athletes who have received outstanding recognition at the conference, county, and state levels. The Big “L” Club continues to induct into the Hall of Fame, honoring the recipients at a Hall of Fame Brunch in October. Each year in May, our senior athletes look forward to participating in our Lancers on Parade Fundraiser, where our very own LHS student athletes get to showcase out ts and enjoy food donated from local vendors.
