Notice of Election County of Cornwall Election of Councillors for Cornwall Council Notice is hereby given that 1. Elections are to be held for ONE Councillor for each of the Electoral Divisions listed below with the exception of Bude* which will elect TWO Councillors. If the elections are contested the poll will take place on Thurday 2 May, 2013. 2. Nomination papers for the West electoral divisions must be delivered as follows: • between the hours of 9am - 1pm and 2pm - 6pm, but not later than noon on Friday 5 April, 2013 to Room E1:03, Cornwall Council, Dolcoath Avenue, Camborne, TR14 8SX on 21, 22, 25, 26 March and 4 and 5 April, • to Cornwall Council One Stop Shop, Chamber Foyer, Carrick House, Pydar Street, Truro, TR1 1EB on 27 March, between the hours of 9am - 1pm and 2pm - 6pm • to Cornwall Council One Stop Shop, St Clare, Penzance on 28 March, between the hours of 9am - 1pm and 2pm - 6pm • On 2 and 3 April nomination papers can be delivered between the hours of 9am - 1pm and 2pm - 9pm to Room E1:03, Cornwall Council, Dolcoath Avenue, Camborne, TR14 8SX. 5. Nomination papers for the East electoral divisions must be delivered: • between the hours of 9am - 1pm and 2pm - 6pm, but not later than noon on Friday 5 April, 2013 to Room 33, Cornwall Council, Luxstowe House, Liskeard, PL14 3DZ on 21, 22, 25, 26 March and 4 and 5 April, • to Cornwall Council One Stop Shop, Higher Trenant, Wadebridge, PL27 6TW on 27 March, between the hours of 9am - 1pm and 2pm - 6pm • to Cornwall Council One Stop Shop, Penwinnick Road, St Austell, PL25 5DR on 28 March, between the hours of 9am - 1pm and 2pm - 6pm • On 2 and 3 April nomination papers can be delivered between the hours of 9am - 1pm and 2pm - 9pm to Room 33, Cornwall Council, Luxstowe House, Liskeard, PL14 3DZ. 6. Forms of nomination papers may be obtained at the offices of the Deputy Returning Officers who will, at the request of any local government elector for the relevant electoral area, prepare a nomination paper for signature. 7. New applications to vote by post and changes to and cancellation of existing postal votes and proxy applications must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at the relevant above-mentioned offices by not later than 5p.m. on 17 April, 2013. 8. New proxy vote applications must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at the relevant above-mentioned offices by not later than 5p.m. on 24 April, 2013. 9. New applications to vote by proxy on grounds of medical emergency must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at the relevant above-mentioned offices by not later than 5p.m. on 2 May, 2013.
