  • Condition Technical Background Production Solution
69 Front seat belt twisted 69 20 47 2058455/1 February 6, 2020. Model(s) Year VIN Range Vehicle-Specific Equipment A6, A7, A8, Q8, and 2019 - 2020 All Not Applicable Audi e-tron quattro Condition Customer states: One or both front seat belts are twisted. Workshop findings: The seat belt webbing was pulled through the deflector of the seat belt height adjuster while twisted. The twisting of the seat belt webbing is predominantly caused by the "seat belt park function" featured in the reversible seat belt tensioners. Technical Background When exiting the vehicle, the seat belt can slightly twist when unbuckled. This twist can move up to the deflector of the seat belt height adjuster when the seat belt retracts. If the “seat belt park function” then occurs, this twist can be pulled past the seat belt deflector resulting in a completely twisted seat belt. Production Solution The implementation of modified seat belt deflector guides for A6, A7, A8, and Audi e-tron quattro during production is in the planning stages. The modified seat belts were implemented in Q8 production starting in December of 2019. Page 1 of 8 © 2020 Audi of America, Inc. All rights reserved. • Direct Shift Gear Transmission
3International Conference on Ideas, Impact and Innovation in Mechanical Engineering (ICIIIME 2017) ISSN: 2321-8169 Volume: 5 Issue: 6 180 – 184 _______________________________________________________________________________________________ Direct Shift Gear Transmission Mr. Pranav Rathi1,Prof. A. J. Patil2 1Student, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Smt. Kashibai Navale College of Engineering, [email protected] 2Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Smt. Kashibai Navale College of Engineering, [email protected] ABSTRACT The Direct Shift Gear Transmission (DSG) also known as Dual Clutch Transmission(DCT) or twin-clutch transmission, is an automated transmission that can change gears faster than any other geared transmission. Dual clutch transmissions deliver more power and better control than a traditional automatic transmission and faster performance than a manual transmission.Modern DSG automatic gearboxes use a pair of clutches in place of a single unit to help you change gear faster than a traditional manual or automatic alternative. Cars with DSG gearboxes don’t feature a clutch pedal and are controlled in exactly the same way as a conventional automatic. Direct Shift Gear transmission (DSG) also called as Dual Clutch Transmissions (DCTs) are providing the full shift comfort of traditional step automatics but offer significantly improved full efficiency and performance. Fuel efficiency increased by 15% compared to planetary-ATs, the DCTs are the first automatics to provide better values than manual transmissions.

  • The Most Famous Porsche Seat Designs
newsroom History Dec 25, 2018 The most famous Porsche seat designs Hollywood fashion stylist, Ilaria Urbanati, rates the best seat patterns from over 70 years of sports car history, together with Ivo van Hulten and Cornelia Rosenbohm from Style Porsche. For the fourth episode of the Top 5 series, Porsche welcomes a guest from the USA: Ilaria Urbanati. She is a fashion stylist from Hollywood, who dresses stars such as Ryan Reynolds, James Marsden and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. Together with Ivo van Hulten, Head of the Interior Design Studio in Weissach, and Cornelia Rosenbohm, a Colour and Trim expert for the Design Studio, she presents the Top 5 fancy seat patterns. #5 Porsche 928 Page 1 of 5 The ranking begins with the Porsche 928 with red and white stripes and a special feature on its headrests: the logo by Ferry Porsche. The colour contrast between the fine white lines and the wider burgundy stripes makes this interior a real eye-catcher. The designers of our number five instantly hit the mark with Ilaria, an avowed 80s fan. #4 Porsche 911 (G series) Stripes continue to determine the ranking: in fourth place is a Porsche 911 with pinstripes in maroon and white. This G-Series is the last 3.2-litre 911 ever built, and left the Zuffenhausen factory in 1989. It marks the end of the almost 17-year history of the second 911 generation. The combination of Carrara White Metallic paint finish and pinstripe interior design is a fitting tribute to this finale. #3 Porsche 911 Turbo „Louise“ The “Louise” Turbo, named after Louise Piëch, is not only the first turbo engine in a Carrera body, but also ranked third by our experts.
