Laboratory Assistant Part Time Community Blood Center, a provider of high-quality blood products and services, is looking to add a Laboratory Assistant position to our Arbor Vitae facility team.

Once fully trained, this position involves the on-call responsibilities of delivery of labeled blood components in a timely manner to local service area hospitals. Other duties include general laboratory functions in compli- ance with regulatory guidelines, keeping inventory of blood components and ensuring proper function of refrigerators/freezers by monitoring and evaluating temperature recording devices.

This is a part-time position, which includes one or two on-call weekends a month, one on-call holiday per calendar year, and additional hours as agreed upon and as necessary.
