Significant progress has also been made in the area of unmanned aerial vehicles (Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems, RPAS).     THE ENTREPRENEURIAL SCHOOL (TES) AWARDS 2017 #TESawards2017 An initiative of JA Europe supported by Siemens The Entrepreneurial School Awards is an annual national and European recognition of the outstanding primary and second- ary schools championing entrepreneurship education. The schools are nominated by national JA organisations in cooperation with their national education authorities and/or Ministries of Education. The best school in each country is named as “The Entrepreneurial School of the Year” and is recognized on a European level. Criteria: • Entrepreneurship education activities include most of the teachers and the students • The school has a vision and a plan for entrepreneurship education • There are specific resources allocated to entrepreneurship education • The school has actively supported teachers’ continuing professional development and training within entrepreneurship education • How the school includes the local community and business sector in their activities This criteria follow the objectives of Europe 2020, the EU’s growth strategy which aims to enhance creativity and innovation, including entrepreneurship, at all levels of education and training. More particularly, the Awards respond to the new priorities for European cooperation in education and training presented by Commissioners Thyssen and Navracsics on 1 September 2015. Regardless the involved state is a member of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) or its partner. Some of these problems have already existed for decades but have become particularly acute over the last twenty years. These problems include the reduction of troops and spending on post-Cold War peace dividends as well as the need of an increase in the number of mobile armed forces capable of operating far beyond the borders of their countries and whose actions have to be supported for a very long periods of time. INTRODUCTION From a historical standpoint the defense management has emerged as a topic of interest to the defense sector fairly recently. Western countries introduce a defense management concept in the process of solving problems like allocating financial or human resources, solving strategic and operational tasks as part of an integrated approach or using business-specific defense management tools. Such an approach requires highly professional and dedicated efforts at all levels and in all divisions of the state military organization. One of the proven ways of achieving this goal is the use of planning management functions, organization, leadership and control in all areas of the defense organization, which can contribute to maximizing the effectiveness of the armed forces' operational activities.

Significant progress has also been made in the area of unmanned aerial vehicles (Remote Piloted Aircraft Systems, RPAS). The aim of the project is to introduce unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) into the internal airspace. The Agency coordinates the interaction of the UAV national operators, the European Commission represented by the Directorate-General for Mobility and Transport and the European UAV Leading Group.
