The new HQ, adjacent to the company’s Whitley Engineering Centre, was opened by the chairman of Tata Sons, Mr Ratan Tata, the vice president of Tata Motors, Mr Ravi Kant, and the chief executive of JLR Dr Ralf Speth. The opening is the first major step towards JLR delivering on its desire to consolidate its engineering and corporate operations across its two sites in Coventry and Gaydon. The new facility, which becomes fully operational on January 9 2012, is opening to the public on Saturday December 10 from 11am till 3pm, to give people an idea of what the new facility will provide.
