Another change this year was the addition of a Training/Novice division, in which the competitors rode Dressage and Show Jumping tests of Training level difficulty, and the Cross Country was the Jessica Johnson on Luganske Novice course with the addition of two very challenging larger Training fences. Dressage Stewards Barbara Bentley and Jess Ellis Black kept things on time. Dennis R. and Jerry Harriman ran the start at Cross Country with Medical person and score runner Lisa S. assisting. XC fence judges Terri Melanie Harris on Eire of Romance Ogden, Caitlin Donahue, Marsha Delaware, Janet Schlenker, Ange- la McMahon, Clarissa Edelston, 3 Gary Anderson, Jenn Kolvoord, Kris Nikola, and Warm up Stew- ard Breanna all did a great job and helped the event run smooth- ly. Debbie Place stepped up to Sophia Miller on Monkey Business judge Show Jumping when Cat Ruksznis had to fill in as Scorer, assisted by Gabby Jolin. The SJ course was designed with the as- sistance of Don Devine, and set up by Gail McCormack and Infinity Farm’s Jenna. Thanks to Foxcroft Pony Club for providing food and beverages for the day. We were so pleased to see both Addison Clukey on My Sunny Boy returning competitors and some new ones, and the apparent resur- gence of interest in eventing at our MeCTA affiliated (unrecognized by USEA) horse trials is hearten- ing and makes the whole effort of organizing this event worthwhile.
