NAZARETH COACH KEVIN BRODERICK: · In 2017-18, Kevin Broderick completed his 22nd season as a college head coach, the last ninecom- ing at his alma mater in Nazareth. He has a record of 147-90 (.620) through nine seasons at Nazareth, including a 87-51 mark (.630) against Empire 8 Conference competition. He reached a milestone in 2015 by winning his 300th game and now has a career record of 356-240 (.597). · A native of Fulton, N.Y., Broderick was the head coach at Oswego for 13 seasons and went 209-150 there. He replaced Mike Daley (318-284 in 23 seasons) at Nazareth in 2009 and guided the Golden Flyers to two E8 Conference titles and two NCAA Tournament berths. He was named Coach of the Year in 2016 and 2018. · Broderick’s coaching experience includes two seasons as an assistant coach to John Beilein at Canisius and one season each as an assistant at Genesee Community College, LeMoyne and Nazareth. · Broderick graduated from Nazareth in 1989 with a degree in Business Education. He was the team’s starting point guard for two seasons and served as team captain in 1988-89. He ranked among the national leaders in assists in his two seasons as a starter with averages of 7.7 and 8.4 respectively. · Broderick’s oldest son, Brendan, is a junior on this year’s team.
