  • Butifarra! En Los Barrios
    PRESENTACIÓ En el 40è aniversari de l’aparició de la revista gràfica Butifarra, l’Arxiu Històric de la Ciutat de Barcelona, amb la col·laboració de l’Associació Tantatinta, vol dedicar una Jornada a la reflexió sobre la historieta crítica en el context social i polític de la Transició. La revista va sorgir de la mà d’un jove equip de professionals del còmic, dibuixants, guionistes i periodistes convençuts que el llenguatge de la historieta anava molt més enllà de la simple distracció, i que era portador d’enormes possibilitats pedagògiques i d’informació al servei d’un nou model de ciutat i de societat més justos i democràtics. L’Equip Butifarra i la seva revista van establir una especial aliança amb les associacions de veïns i veïnes i altres entitats dels barris de Barcelona i de la seva àrea metropolitana. La revista i l’equip que li donava nom es van convertir en receptors i transmissors de les notícies i les reivindicacions veïnals. 2 A més a més, durant totes les èpoques de la publicació van aparèixer edicions monogràfiques dedicades a temes ciutadans de l’actualitat de cada moment: l’Esquerra de l’Eixample, la campanya per la gratuïtat del Quart Cinturó, la rehabilitació dels quarts de casa de la Barceloneta, o la recuperació de l’espai públic de places i carrers, reflectida en multitud de cartells i auques populars. O eso dicen. No tengo claro cuál fue la mía a la hora de idear este libro que tienes en las manos. Simplemente se me ocurrió que sería fantástico escribir unas cuantas historietas de género negro ambientadas en Barcelona y que las dibujasen diferentes artistas de la ciudad. Por la eterna falta de tiempo y los muchos proyectos que llevo entre manos, pronto deseché la idea de escribir yo solo todas las historias, así que contacté con mis camaradas guionistas y los sumé al proyecto. La idea se me ocurrió en 2012, pero diferentes compromisos no me permitieron retomarla hasta dos años después. El proyecto nació como Puta Barcelona y así se lo vendí a los autores con quienes iba contactando. Temerosos de lo poco comercial del título, lo cambiamos a Barcelona viste de negro, mucho más elegante y referencial. Pero ocurrió el terrible atentado terrorista en la ciudad y llegamos a la conclusión de que ese nuevo título podría hacer pasar el libro por lo que no era, un homenaje a las víctimas. Así que lo cambiamos por el definitivo y directo BCN Noire. Tuve claro desde el principio que la Ciudad Condal iba a ser un personaje más y que los autores tenían que conocerla como la palma de su mano, por lo que autoimpuse unas directrices: todos los autores de- bían llevar muchos años viviendo en la ciudad (aunque no hubieran nacido en ella), ser profesionales del cómic y tener cierta experiencia o trayectoria en el género negro.

Many media outlets have closed or cut staff in recent years, as public expenditures and the advertising market contracted. This has led to a decline in media diversity, expanding political influence, increased self-censorship, and a deterioration in the independence and quality of reporting. Legal Environment Freedom of expression is guaranteed in Section 20 of the constitution, and press freedom is generally respected in practice, though the media face legal threats including defamation suits. The authorities monitor websites and social-network accounts that publish hate speech and advocate terrorism or xenophobia. In April 2014, a police operation resulted in 21 arrests for glorifying terrorism or humiliating its victims on Twitter. In November, a new Intellectual Property Act reinforced the blockage of websites containing or linking to copyrighted content that is used without permission.     La industria del cómic en España en 2018. © Asociación Cultural Tebeosfera (ACyT) INFORME SOBRE LA INDUSTRIA DEL CÓMIC EN ESPAÑA EN 2018 El año del asentamiento del mercado Documento de la redacción de Tebeosfera, 5 de abril de 2019 Este informe sobre las novedades editoriales de cómic distribuidas en el mercado español durante 2018 y años anteriores se emite tras el análisis practicado sobre un volcado de datos producido el día 31 de marzo de 2019, partiendo de lo recogido y contrastado en El gran catálogo, la base de datos de la historieta española que se gestiona en el sitio www.tebeosfera.com. Este sigue siendo el referente más riguroso sobre las publicaciones de y con historietas y viñetas distribuidas en España, dado que se halla siempre en proceso de revisión y mejora por los documentalistas de la Asociación Cultural Tebeosfera1, y además por tratarse de una base de datos pública, accesible y refutable por otros interesados o analistas si lo estiman oportuno, sirviéndose de nuestro buscador avanzado (https://www.tebeosfera.com/buscador-avanzado/), donde se puede discriminar por títulos, intervalos temporales, editores, autores y formatos. Ningún otro informe o catálogo ofrece estas posibilidades. Los datos aquí comentados hacen referencia a publicaciones impresas que ofrecieron historietas lanzadas por sus editores como novedades entre el 1 de enero y el 31 de diciembre del año 2018. En la mayor parte del informe se trabaja tan solo con los tebeos comerciales, o sea: revistas y libros que contuvieron comics en sus páginas en un porcentaje superior al 75%, no considerando como tales las publicaciones que dedicaban menos de la cuarta parte de su paginación a ofrecer historietas.
