NOTICE OF CONFIRMATION OF PUBLIC PATH EXTINGUISHMENT ORDER The County Borough of Wrexham (Bettisfield Footpath 10 (Part) in the Community of Maelor South) Public Path Extinguishment Order 2013 On 29/4/15 Wrexham County Borough Council confirmed the above-named Order made under Section 118 of the Highways Act 1980. The effect of the Order as confirmed is to extinguish the public footpath shown by a bold continuous line as shown on the Order map attached to this Notice and described in the Schedule to this Notice. The Order will come into effect 7 days from the date of confirmation. A copy of the Order as confirmed and the Order map have been placed and may be seen free of charge at the office of Wrexham County Borough Council, Guildhall, Wrexham and at the Post Office, 26 Scotland Street, Ellesmere from 9 am to 4.30 pm Mondays to Fridays. Copies of the Order and map may be obtained free of charge from the Guildhall, Wrexham. If any person aggrieved by the Order wants to question its validity or that of any provision contained in the Order, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980, as amended, or on the ground that any requirement of that Act, as amended, or of any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the Order, pursuant to paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act, he or she may make an application to the High Court within six weeks from 30/4/15. SCHEDULE DESCRIPTION OF SITE OF EXISTING PATH OR WAY The full width of that part of Bettisfield public footpath 10 in the Community of Maelor South shown by continuous bold lines commencing from the junction with the county road at point A (SJ 4556 3668) on the Order Map and continuing generally west- north-west for approximately 205 metres to meet the A495 Ellesmere to Whitchurch Road at point B (SJ 4537 3674) and then continuing from the A495 Ellesmere to Whitchurch Road at point C (SJ 4534 3674) generally north-west for approximately 455 metres past Little Hall to meet the junction with the alternative branch of footpath 10 at point D (SJ 4500 3704).
