The Carpathians are an extraordinary TRANSGREEN place with wonderful natural treasures, including large Project Manager E carnivores. Large carnivores, such as bears, wolves and lynxes stand witness for the health of Carpathian ecosystems. Since we ourselves are the people living in the Carpathian area, we understand well the need for improved transport infrastructure in this region. At the same time, we need to identify good solutions to minimise the impact of new roads and railways on nature and wildlife in the Carpathians, all while using the Mitigation Hierarchy Principle: Avoidance, Mitigation and Compensation.
